NCIS 6x01 recap

If I have to be honest, out of 'my fave shows' I have been a bit disappointed the last 2 seasons and a rather unspectacular finale didn't change my opinion. So with no expectations I have watched the season premiere and although there wasn't a lot of Tony I have really enjoyed it! I'm not going to analyze, just putting some thoughts down ...

Ziva

What a great opening and Ziva was just .... the dress, the singing, the look ... WOW!




We get to meet her infamous father who obviously cares about his daughter, still is letting her go. She did feel uncomfortable around him, wonder if we find out more about their relationship and the truth about Ari ...


New Team



So we got to meet the 'new' team, Agent Keating and two agents we have already met, Agent Lee and Langer. I found Keating a bit annoying, just being copy a of McGee, though I was looking forward to see more of Jonathan LaPagia, especially after his last appearance and little flirt with Ziva - but he didn't stay long, did he? But what's the deal with Lee? Little 'lawyer who can't shoot' - damn she can!! And I still remember she almost stabbed Gibbs' eye out with that knife by throwing it backwards! Was she using Palmer from the beginning? Who is she working for? Will she get away with it? We'll see ...

McGee
McGee - Trying to be the new Gibbs boss and acting like one around 'his team'. I would have thought he was more loyal to Gibbs and would go around Vance's back ...

Abby
I LOVED Abby in this episode! 126 days and still counting? Having lunch with McGee? Giving Gibbs' the speech about getting his team back? Having 12 days? Would never kill, ut if she would she'd use a pillow? She's a freaking forensic, she knows how to do it! Giving hugs, spreading joy and love ... me LOVE.



Tony
Poor 'never alone' Tony, where is he? He better come back soon! Gibbs-Slapping himself, being a girl while hacking into the pentagon system ♥ ... and did anyone else noticed Gibbs' constant little grin while talking to him in MTEC? ;)



The old good NCIS is back - and it better stays! ;)

altho this is really really geat...is there any chance in the future you could put it behind a fake cut and let us know tis a spoiler please? i only say this cos here in england we are way behind...and this wont air till next year!!! :-) thanks.

Good summary. I think McGee probably knew that Gibbs would understand, and could see the overall picture. But that's just my take on it.

Yeah, I agree on that, but McGee always seems a bit unsecure about those things, don't blame him though ;)

These are wonderful! Did you do that later episodes? I've been over to ncis_caps but it all seems to stop mid-series.... Thank you :-)

Thank you very much for the comment! Glad you loved the 'mini-recap' with caps ... I've posted some caps over at ncis_caps, but you're right they stopped ... I got kind of lazy and wasn't sure of people were still interested in those as there are many others who upload a bunch of caps.

Maybe I'll try and cap the rest during the summer and will start capping daily with the new season ... would you like that? ;)

I've just started watching it, yes. I've bought all the DVDs, and we have a channel over here (in the UK) showing season 6 :-)

So I've seen season 1, first disk of season 2, and a few of season 6 so far! Absolutely in love with it :-)
